SUPERTOYS LAST ALL SUMMER LONG I came across this old auction item recently and thought, hmm, has that been on the E12 blog so here goes. Its a Supertoys Alpha Explorers toy and appears to be black. These are the only pictures I could save from the old listing.
TOMY CONSTRUCTION TOYS 1971 The rear grabber on the "8" Tomy space vehicle below left really does remind me of the similar rear claw on the back of some Explorer 12 toys.
MORE WOOLWORTHS EXPLORER III A further photo from an old Ebay auction of this unusual window boxed toy issued by Woolworths, which was clearly inspired by the British Home Stores original.
THE ASTRO MOBIL 1982 A Fischer Technik Explorer? It certainly looks the part with its huge tube tyres and boxy body. It would fit well into an Explorer 12 space base. Do you agree?
